Call for Proposals: The Global Water Crisis

Duquesne University  hosts the third annual interdisciplinary Integrity of Creation Conference, on the topic The Global Water Crisis on September 27 – 28, 2017.

The third annual conference in this scholarly series on the Integrity of Creation will focus on the Global Water Crisis. The conference presentations will address a variety of interdisciplinary perspectives including science, law & policy, ethics, and religion. This call for posters invites the submission of posters for presentation at the conference. Successful applicants also will be invited to write an essay based on the Poster for inclusion in the published Conference Proceedings.

Deadline for poster submissions is May 26, 2017.

Call for Papers: Eighth International Conference on The Constructed Environment

Wayne State University hosts the Eighth International Conference on The Constructed Environment from May 24-25, 2018. Papers are invited on design and planning processes, building processes, environmental impacts, and social impacts. “Founded in 2010, the conference is brought together by a common shared interest in human configurations of the environment and the interactions among the constructed, social, and natural environments.”

Submissions are due by May 24, 2017.

Call for Papers: Natural Resources Law Teachers Workshop

The University of Oklahoma College of Law invites papers for the first Natural Resources Law Teachers Workshop on July 22, 2017. The submission deadline is May 31, 2017.

The workshop’s objective is to encourage the work of scholars in the fields of natural resources law and policy. Presenters are welcome to present abstracts, partial, or full papers. The goal of the workshop will be to provide helpful feedback on works-in-progress, in addition to building relationships and increasing the sense of community among natural resources law scholars.

Call for Papers: University of Baltimore School of Law’s Journal of Land and Development

The University of Baltimore School of Law’s Journal of Land and Development invites papers for its Volume 6 2016-2017 edition.

The Journal of Land and Development is one of the few national journals that focuses on property and environmental law. The publication covers urban, suburban and rural issues involving land use, environmental preservation, economic development and community development, as well as real estate transactions and matters concerning finance, property, civil rights, human rights, civil liberties, and state and local government.

Submit articles to JLD@ubalt.edu by March 15, 2017.  Articles submitted after March 15 may be considered in the following semester.
