The Law & Economics Center at George Mason University Antonin Scalia Law School invites applications for its upcoming LEC Workshop for Law Professors on the Rule of Law on January 20-23, 2017 at South Seas Island Resort in Captiva, FL.

Law professors and judges frequently invoke the Rule of Law as an important principle but rarely define what the Rule of Law is or why it matters. The LEC Workshop for Law Professors on the Rule of Law will consider the historical context and meaning of the rule of law and the relationship between the Rule of Law, Individual Freedom, and Economic Prosperity.
