The Conference on Auditing and Capital Markets, which will take place October 20-21, 2016 in Washington, DC, invites paper submissions about all aspects of auditing of corporations, as well as the impact of regulation and oversight.  The conference organizers particularly encourage the submission of papers of relevance to projects listed on the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board’s standard-setting agenda (available by clicking here), economic analysis in standard setting (refer to PCAOB’s Staff Guidance on Economic Analysis in PCAOB Standard Setting, available by clicking here ) and other issues of relevance to the PCAOB’s mission which, under the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, is to protect the interests of investors and further the public interest in the preparation of informative, accurate and independent audit reports.

Send a PDF version of your paper, with a separate title page to facilitate a blind-review, by August 12, 2016 to the Center for Economic Analysis at specifying “PCAOB/JAR Conference” in the subject line.
