Human Rights Law - Call for Papers

The Creighton Law Review is seeking papers for a symposium focused on Human Rights Law that will be held on April 4, 2008. The symposium will feature keynote speaker and TePoel lecturer Kenneth Roth, executive director of Human Rights Watch. The symposium will be made up of two panel sessions addressing various issues of domestic and international human rights law. The Editorial Board is requesting article submissions addressing the following topics: Application of Human Rights Law during Times of International Conflict; Human Rights & Women; Human Rights & Human Trafficking; Human Rights & Economic Development; Human Rights & Responsibility of Public Corporations; Human Rights & Native Americans/Immigrants/Migrant Workers & Application of International Human Rights Law in the United States.  For more details, go here

Comparative Study of Human Trafficking Laws

The Exploitation of Women and Children: A Comparative Study of Human Trafficking Laws between the United States-Mexico and China-Vietnam  was recently posted to GlobaLex  (Global Law & Justice Program) database.  It includes an annotated bibliography that highlights lots of good resources.
